Throughout the Historic Center, you’ll find a wealth of innovative attractions, making it one of the main tourist centers nationally and internationally. The Historic Center belongs to the select group of sites known as Cultural Heritage. The Histoic Center of San Salvador was declared a Cultural Heritage site on July 18, 2008, through Legislative Decree No. 680.
